Here took a birth of flower
Gradually it started to grow
When it bloomed
Bees came to suck nectar
It succeeded in pollination
Overcoming a lot of difficulties
Happy moments of spring
Tough days of summer
Cheerful days of autumn
Stiff days of winter
Finally struggling hard
It lived its life
And one day it died
But no one knew
If it ever existed in the world.
Note: I wrote this poem when I was in I sem in Bachelor Level. I came to Kathmandu, leaving mother and sister to stay and study with brothers, I felt so lonely.Few days back I found this poem in one of my computer folder and I decided to post in my blog. I am using the freedom of blog(No restriction from any editors!!)

The above lines are really moving and strong. Yes, the life of flower reflects the life of our human life too.

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt looks more like a poetic essay than a poem. But it is beautiful.
If the flower lived its life fully and enjoyed it, it doesn't matter whether this world cared about its existence or not.
Thanks Basanta Dai for ur positive thought about flower.
ReplyDeleteI liked ur line 'If the flower lived its life fully and enjoyed it, it doesn't matter whether this world cared about its existence or not.'
I agree with it these days. So no more frustrations about living a life :)
