Some corners

5 days and 4 nights- a quiet different experience for me ended today. Had a chance of observing lots of village stories in Dolakha. New responsibilities are upon me . Have full energy to work more and perform better.
Story no 1
Shanta BK from jhule VDC Dolakha is pregnant from unknown month. She has a small boy of 1 year old. She has 5 children and one is coming soon. Till now, she hasn't visited health post for regular checkup. She is shy and villagers scold and say something to her whenever they meet. So she is avoiding all this. She is around 45 years old and it seems complicated pregnancy.
Story no 2
'How did this happen?' I asked. I mean ' did he fell from tree or did he fell due to blood pressure' the reply was 'by drinking'
He had very bad injury in head. They said that head bone is almost outside the skin.
Story no 3
'my husband nearly killed that health person' said laxmi thapa. Her husband had a permanent family planning operation. But due to lack of proper information laxmi was pregnant.
Story no 4
We saw an abandoned house and asked villager about the house. They said it belonged to a family, mother, father and three children.
One day mother was pregnant and the father of the baby was a villager of the same village. When that man knew about the pregnancy, he captivated the woman, killed her and buried. The investigation was done and body was found.
The husband committed suicide. According to villager, the three children were taken by a Swiss for proper upbringing and education.

New Thing

I am posting this post through new office, new room and new computer.

Writing

Nothing to write but writing something, which is around me, the weather. The temperature of kathmandu for today is 12 degree celcius for minimum and maximum will be 16 degree celcius and it will be a sunny day according to BBC.

The rays of sun are already there to make kathmandu a sunny day.But I am inside my office and typing in keyboard, looking those sunny rays outside. Plants are enjoying its delicate and tender morning rays of sun.

Inside room, my hands are freezing as it is producing some letters in computer screen.Inspite of socks, my toes are also freezing. I am feeling them as cold as ice. After sometime I have to get into work, when the meeting finishes. The meetings always make me out of my work place and give chance to add new post in my blog.That's what I am doing.

खाना पकाउँदा

'cooking is a creative work and I am very poor at creative work' कार्यकर्म सन्चलिका मन्दिरा बेदिले मलाई खाना बनाउन आउँदैन भन्न नसकेर यस्तो घुमौरो जवाफ एक पल्ट दिएकी थिइन्। जे भए पनि खान पकाउनु सिर्जनात्मक काम नै हो। तर धेरै सिर्जनत्मक काम गर्‍यो भने पनि वाक्क लाग्ने रहेछ।

खाना पकाउनु पनि मेरो जीवनको एउटा भाग हो। ब्लगमा यस बारे लेख्नु पर्‍यो भनेर दुई, तीन दिन देखी सोचिरहेको थिए। त्यही भएर लेख्दै छु।

मैले खाना पकाउन थालेको म कक्षा ७ मा पढ्दा देखी जस्तो लाग्छ। यो ८ बर्षको अनुभवले म राम्रो कूक भईसकेजस्तो लाग्छ।

के के कसरी पकाउने भन्ने कुरा मेरो sixth sense ले थाहा पाउँछ। जस्तो नुन कती र कती बेला हल्ने, मेथी कती पट्काउने, मसला के मा कती हाल्ने आदी आदी ।जती धेरै पल्ट खाना पाकयो तेती धेरै पकाउने बारे थाहा हुँदो रहेछ।
जाँच को बेला आमाले खाना पकाउनु हुन्थ्यो र मलाई खाना पकाउने बानिले गर्दा होला कहिले जाँच सकिन्छ र खाना पकाउँ जस्तो लग्थ्यो र फेरी खाना पकाउन थालेपछी नुन कती हाले, लाग्छ कि लाग्दैन जस्तो लग्थ्यो।

घरमा मैले म कस्तो खाना पकाउँछु भनेर त सोधेको छैन तर मैले पकाएको अरुहरुलाई कस्तो लाग्छ अन्दज चै लगाउन सक्छु।खाना पकाउनु को outcome यही त हो। बुवालाई ८०% मनपर्छ। आमालाई ९०% मनपर्छ। आमाले भन्नु भएको ठुलो दाजुलाई मैले पकएको खाना एकदम मिठो लाग्छ रे। आशिश( सानो दाई) लाई ९५% मिठो लाग्छ र Akriti (बहिनि)लाई कस्तो पनि लाग्दैन।न मिठो न नमिठो।
खाना पकाउनु को सट्टा आरु केही गरेको भए म त्यो कुरा म कती perfect हुन्थे होला। तर खाना त पकाउनु नै पर्छ किनकी जिउन को लागि खाना खानै पर्छ।

Old, New Laptop

I am posting this article through new laptop. Actually it is old but new to me. This laptop is donated by two Canadian Volunteers before they left Nepal. May be it is outdated laptop in Canada.

But it is new for our office and me becoz the old laptop was very old. I think it is of 60s!!! The screen was so conjusted and fonts were...... Leave it.Past is past.

I always have to work in Documentation centre so they provided me this laptop. There is no desktop computer in Documentation Centre. Although I am only for few days in this office,this will be my laptop until I work here.

Time to work!! otherwise the scolding of supervisor.
