Workshop

I attended 3 days workshop on Alternative Violence Project(AVP).It started on 27 th sept and ended on 29th. The workshop was very interactive. A Huge thanks goes to the effort of Gajendra Dai, Nabin ji and Sujin Dai who organized this workshop and made it success.



I attended two days and I had to left one because of the protest match of a political party who believed in the non federal system of Nepal.



At the end of workshop, what I felt the most important thing is the unity that we shared among all the Lohorung pals.



I had wished to take a lot of photos but I couldn't becasuse of the tight schedule of my camera. I missed my camera in the whole workshop.



The souvenir from the workshop was secret messages that every participant got in the envelop which was decorated by their buddies. I was so impatient to open the envelop.



Finally at home, I opened and read it. The messages goes like this....

Everyone had an affirmative name before their name and my affirmative name was Amature.

दाजुको बिहेको प्रसङ्ग

मेरो ठुलो दाजुको पनि बिहे हुने भयो। सानो तरिकाले हुनेभयो । यो सानो तरिका चै कस्तो हुन्छ त्यो बिहे भैसकेपछीनै थाहा हुन्छ। अनी मेरो प्रश्न थियो कसरी हुन्छ बिहा अनी के के गर्नुपर्छ हाम्रो पट्टी बाट ? खै हाम्रो समुदायको खाट्टी बिहे कहिले खान पाइएकै छैन अहिलेसम्म । जहिले गाउँ देखी बाहिर ।

बुवाले भन्न थाल्नु भयो ' केटा पक्षको बाट मान्छेहरु बेहुलिकोमा जाने अनी त्यहाँ काम सकाएर हाम्रो घरमा ल्याउने । हाम्रो घरमा चै ह्यान्खुवा गर्नु पर्छ । ह्यान्खुवा गर्दा दुई वटा कुखुरा चाहिन्छ। म कराएँ 'कुखुरा?' ओहो त्यो कुखुराहरुलाई काट्ने होला हैन अनी हाम्रो घरमै काट्ने हो?

'हो त ' बुवा भन्नु हुन्छ । अनी बहिनी र म मुख बिगार्न थाल्छौ ।
'हाम्रो घरमा रगत हुन्छ ' खल्लो मनले म भन्छु ।
काटमार पहिले देखी नै मन नपरेपनी, मासु खान छोडेपछी त झन् पटकै मनपर्दैन।
' के गर्ने त आण्डा फुटाउने हो ! ' बुवा पनि यस्तो कुरामा विश्वाश गर्नु हुन्न अनी जिस्कदै भन्नु भयो
'बरु केक काट्न लगाउँ न ' भने मैले । 'कुखुराको आकारको बनाउ अनी केक काट्न लाउँ दाजु अनी भाउजुलाई '
'कहाँ दाजु भाउजुले काट्ने हो त याटङ्पा ( पूजारी ) ले पो काट्छ त ' बुवा ले जवाब दिनु भयो ।
यतिकैमा कुरा सकियो । तर साँच्चीनै के हाम्रो घरमा कुखुराको बध हुन्छ त । यो त समयले नै भन्छ । तर कुखुराको बध नहुनको लागि म अनी सानो दाईको चै बैठक राखेर हटाउने कोशीश गर्नु पर्ला । बाँकी कुरा के हुनेछ ब्लगमा लेखौला ।

Children's Day

Yesterday was children's day. I was in a hurry to go to my fren's school function. I was so excited for this program and I was so happy because my intention was to take a lot of pictures of small inocent children.

I was having my breakfast with a cheerful mood when my father read out a news related to children. According to that news, a small boy's dead body without head was found in a stream of western part of Nepal(I forgot the exact name of place). And it was suspected to be done by a 'Jogi' to get power by sacrificing that little boy. I imagined the whole thing and felt so bad. I kept on thinking what a bad news on Children's day.

I took a lot of pictures on the program. Some are really good one. Anyway, This Children's Day was one of the memorable children's day.

It's so good to visit Photo Exhibition. It inspires me a lot. The Exhibition was great.
